Arn Anderson says the A&E Four Horsemen Biography is the first time in his career he has ever felt like a top guy, after decades of being told he was not a marketable name.

Speaking on the ARN podcast, Anderson revealed what he was told at the start of his career and how that framing followed him for decades. "I was told when I first started the business, you're not really a marketable guy. Stuff like this just isn't done for me. I feel like I've always been looked at as a middle guy, which is a badge of honor for me. But I've never been looked at as a top guy until this came out. It just feels like I'm looked at, at least by the A&E people, hopefully everybody else, finally a top guy."

He also revealed he expected the documentary to be another Ric Flair feature with a small role for him. "They did one years ago, Ric Flair and the Four Horsemen, which was just basically featuring Ric, and I just had a little piece. I thought that's what this was going to be. I had no idea we'd get the exposure and the amount of time that they put into just me and that they trusted it would be received well."

When told that the A&E app uses his face as the thumbnail for the episode rather than Ric Flair's, he was caught off guard. "Well, I hope they were right."

Stephen A. Smith, Post Malone, George Kittle, Snoop Dogg, Shawn Michaels, and Hulk Hogan all contributed. Anderson said Stephen A.'s involvement was the biggest surprise. 

"Stephen A. One shocker, man. I didn't even know you knew who I was."

On what hit hardest: "When you have your peers speaking as kindly as our peers did, it really means a lot. Because they were there. They lived it. That's something that you don't hear while you're in the business. It's something you hear later."

Anderson was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2012 as part of the Four Horsemen group. He has never received a solo induction.
