## Caption

(0:02-0:25)Fatma Samoura, the first female Secretary General for FIFA, reflects on the just-concluded Women's World Cup. She emphasizes the importance of highlighting women's successes and how those achievements can inspire the next generation. Samoura acknowledges the challenges women over 50 face in balancing roles as mothers, educators, and entrepreneurs, encouraging women to support each other through active listening and understanding.

She dismisses gender stereotypes in elite sports, asserting that resilience and a winning mindset are crucial for success. Samoura shares her personal experience of never feeling discriminated against based on gender, attributing her resilience to not growing up with a mindset of gender-based discrimination.

Samoura announces her decision to step down from her role at FIFA after seven years to focus more on family and to advocate for social justice, aiming to combat discrimination based on religion, sexual orientation, or skin color on the field of play. This marks her next battle beyond her tenure at FIFA.
