On May 19, 2022 -  one year ago today - Stroke Onward launched a coast-to-coast bike journey called Stroke Across America to raise awareness for stroke, aphasia, and the emotional journey of rebuilding rewarding lives. Our founders, Debra Meyerson and Steve Zuckerman, along with Whitney Hardy and their dog, Rusti, began the ride in Astoria, Oregon by dipping their rear wheels in the Pacific Ocean before setting off on the journey.
