Service members, veterans and public supporters participating in the Project Hero r2rprojecthero 2026 Texas Challenge received a hero's welcome from The Great Place as riders were greeted with handshakes from Soldiers and festive music from the 1st Cavalry Division Band 1stcavalrydivision during a stop on the fifth of a seven-day 370-mile journey that began in San Antonio, Texas and will culminate in Arlington, Texas.
