#LFA233 🇺🇸🏆🇧🇷

Reigning champion Jonathan Piersma (11-3) will defend his title against Brazilian standout Diego Bianchini (10-2).

Piersma, who represents upstate #NewYork, has emerged as one of the top welterweights in the region, defending his home turf once again as champion. Known for his durability and well-rounded game, he now faces a dangerous late replacement with momentum on his side.

Bianchini brings valuable experience to the matchup as a veteran of UltimateFighter and a proven competitor inside the LFA cage. The Brazilian is coming off an impressive submission victory at #LFA229 in March and now steps into the biggest opportunity of his career with a chance to capture LFA gold on short notice.

LFA 233: Piersma vs. Bianchini, presented by MonsterEnergy, takes place Friday, May 22nd at the SenecaAllegany Event Center in Salamanca, New York.
