Blackstone cleanup 🧽

1.) Use a scraper and get all of the burnt bits off of the surface and push down into the grease trap.

2.) While the griddle is still hot, pour a little bit of water on the surface to help loosen up more of the stubborn grease, grit, and trim on the surface.

3.) Go back over the surface with your scraper and a brush to make sure all of gunk has been removed.

4.) With a paper towel, drying the surface COMPLETELY! This will help preserve the life of your griddle by preventing rust, chipping, and it becoming brittle in areas.

5.) Using a paper towel, lightly coat the surface with a neutral oil (coconut oil, avocado oil, olive oil, etc.). I personally use avocado oil. 

6.) Cover your surface with a silicon mat (Not pictured, but I got mine from Amazon) to keep the moisture out and your surface clean!
