A lot of what society labels as “confidence”…

Is actually defense.

People learn to hide pain behind:
• ego 
• control 
• aggression 
• achievement 
• emotional walls 

Because vulnerability feels unsafe.

But eventually the mask becomes exhausting.

And the version of ourselves we created to survive…

Starts blocking us from real connection, peace, and authenticity.

True healing is not becoming someone new.

It’s slowly removing the layers that taught you to hide who you already are.

That takes courage.

But it’s where freedom begins.
