Arizona is home to the longest county in America 😳

According to Apache County’s official website, the county stretches around 211 miles from the Utah border all the way down to just south of Alpine, Arizona — making it the longest county in the United States.

Apache County covers a massive portion of eastern Arizona and is known for its incredible desert landscapes, canyons, forests and deep Native American history. Much of the county is part of the Navajo Nation, which makes up a large percentage of both the population and land area.

Most people in Arizona have probably driven through Apache County before without realizing just how huge it actually is 👀
