At 25 years old, Sifa* was displaced from her home in eastern DRC while pregnant with her daughter, Ange*.

After fleeing violence, surviving without enough food, and living in fear, Sifa began experiencing dangerous pregnancy complications. 

Save the Children's partner clinic was there to help her — providing Sifa with treatment, after-care support, and the care she needed to safely give birth to Ange.
