This weekend sees the return of the Old Leigh Shanty festival run by the leighonsealions ⚓️🎶

Events like this are a huge boost for local independent businesses - from pubs and cafés to shops, stalls and hospitality venues - bringing visitors into the area and helping keep our local economy thriving.

The free community event runs from Sat 16th to Sun 17th May from 2pm-6pm & features over 20 shanty crews, local folk bands, and pirates performing at waterfront venues like Strand Wharf, crookedbilletlos, and thepeterboat
