Over 1.1 million Jamaicans have now done it from their phone — without standing in a single line.

Minister of Efficiency, Innovation & Digital Transformation, Ambassador the Hon. Audrey Marks, MP, confirmed the milestone at the 2026 Sectoral Debate. The Electronic Motor Vehicle Registration system now sends you a notification before your certificate expires, lets you renew online, and has already processed more than 1.1 million registrations — with the TAJ Mobile App adding over 40,000 users and counting.
