750 young Jamaicans walked into the National Arena and built working prototypes to solve real national problems — in 24 hours.

No one told them Jamaica couldn’t innovate. They just did it.

At the 2026 Sectoral Debate, Minister of Efficiency, Innovation & Digital Transformation, Ambassador the Hon. Audrey Marks, MP, announced that the Government will establish a National Solutions Registry — a permanent, direct platform for Jamaicans to submit innovative ideas and practical solutions to the challenges facing their communities and their country, to be reviewed and actioned by the relevant Ministries, Departments, and Agencies.

For the first time, citizen innovation has a formal pathway into government. The talent has always been here. Now there is a structure to match it.
