That floral globe on your feed is from Chelsea in Bloom  a free street festival. The actual Chelsea Flower Show is 200 metres away, behind a wall. They’re not the same event.🤫

Five things almost no one knows:

→ A single show garden costs hundreds of thousands of pounds to build. It exists for 5 days, then disappears.🫥

→ Designers spend 19 days constructing gardens that look 30 years old.😳

→ The dried leaves on the ground? Hand-torn by the team so they look “naturally fallen.”😜

→ Tickets cost £77.25 to £133.90. First two days (May 19 & 20) = RHS members only. No 👎 children under 5. No prams. No dogs. 🐶 

→ Garden gnomes have been banned since 1912. In 2009 a 13-time gold medallist smuggled one in named Borage. She got caught.

Held since 1913. Only cancelled three times - two World Wars and 2020.
