Ayambil Tap is a special Jain fast where only simple, boiled, non-spicy, and oil-free food is eaten. It is a form of detox for the body and mind, practiced with deep devotion and discipline.

These Ayambil Waffles are made with moong dal and cook easily in a waffle maker without oil! They turn out crispy outside, soft inside, and can be paired with Dalia ni Chutney, which is Ayambil-friendly.

I’m sharing this recipe for those who want to observe Ayambil at home but may not be able to visit the temple. This is just a homemade option, not meant to tempt you, but to help you follow Ayambil Tap with ease.

🙏 Michami Dukhadam & Tapasvi Satama Rehjo 🙏

✨ Recipe (Makes 2 Waffles):
🥄 ½ cup yellow moong dal (soaked for a few hours)
🧂 Balwan salt (as needed)
🌶️ ½ tsp black pepper powder
🧄 ¼ tsp hing (asafetida) powder
