We do not own a idli steamer or pressure cooker and use instant pot to steam idlis instead. They turn out just perfect every time. The steaming lid helps the steam to escape and the Idli stand fits in perfectly well. Hope this video helps you and if you have more questions please use the comment section below 👇🏾 

You will need to add 2-2.5 cups water to the steel pot initially

Then hit the steam button and wait till steam comes out of the lid 

Place the Idli stand in the steep pot and let it steam 

Idlis will take about 7-10 minutes to steam 

Once it is done open the lid and pull the Idli stand out

Let it cool for few minutes and enjoy them hot
