How to make a complete meal in an Instant Pot? [New]

I try to make multiple things in an instant pot using pot in pot method and i made both dishes without using multiple utensils and they turned out just perfect.  You can use this method to make mutiple things like dal rice, chole rice, rajma chawal, shak khichdi and so much more 

In this case we are making tuver/lilva ringna nu shaak which my mom paired along with khichdi when I was growing up and I loved the combination and brings make so may childhood memories 

Tuver ringna nu shaak recipe 👇🏾 
Oil 
4 cloves garlic 
3-4 green chilies 
5-6 small Brinjals
Salt as needed 
1 and 1-2 cup lilva / tuver
1 tsp red chili powder 
1/2 tsp turmeric powder 
1/2 tsp ajwain seeds 
1 tsp cumins seeds 
1 and 1/2 cup water 

First cook the shaak on sauté mode in an instant pot then hit cancel button 

Khichdi 👇🏾 

I use Surti kolam or sona masoori rice for khichdi 

If the rice and dal is soaked / using delay timer 
Rice/dal mixture to water should be 1:3.5 
Cook time 20 minutes on high pressure and let it self release 

If rice and dal are not soaked and not using delayed timer 
Rice/dal mixture to water should be 1:5.5 
Cook time 20 minutes on high pressure and let it self release 

Pressure cook both on Manual pressure for 20 min and let it self release
