Following the selection of 9 Mediawan films at the festivaldecannes this year, we’re proud to celebrate the success of FATHERLAND, an ourfilmsproductions movie, which has just received the Best Director Award ✨

Directed by Paweł Pawlikowski, FATHERLAND is produced by MUBI, Our Films (a Mediawan company), Extreme Emotions, Nine Hours & Chapter 2 (a Mediawan company), co-produced by Circle One & Apocalypso Pictures, with the participation of Pathé & Arte and distributed by MUBI & Pathé Distribution, in association with Entourage Pictures (an Entourage Ventures company). 
 
This distinction marks a new milestone for Our Films, the production company founded by Mario Gianani and Lorenzo Mieli, created in 2024 within the Mediawan Group.

As we’re celebrating our 10th anniversary this year, we continue to champion ambitious European storytelling and internationally renowned creative talent. Congratulations to #OurFilms and #Chapter2 and all the teams on this well-deserved recognition 👏
 
This collaboration is part of the strategic partnership established with Entourage Ventures following the agreement signed with Our Films and mubi to develop and produce ambitious European films with international reach.
