You & me + Sequoia Trees?! 🤯🌲🌎

📍Did you know that Sequoia National Park is home to the largest trees in the world- the Giant Sequoia.

🌲These towering monarchs are estimated to be over 3,000 years old and walking among them is a truly breathtaking experience.

Where to see them in the park:

📍Congress Trail
This 2.7 mile round trip loop starts at General Sherman Tree- the largest tree in the world. The trail also leads to other immense trees - some closely grouped together like at “The Senate” and others with holes so large they can fit humans.

📍Tunnel Log
In 1937 a giant sequoia fell across Crescent Meadow Road and then a tunnel was cut through the fallen log as a visitor attraction. The tunnel is 17ft wide and 8ft high and is a popular place for photos and video because…when else can you drive through a tree?!

📍Fallen Monarch
The General Grant Tree Trail in King’s Canyon is a 1/3 mile paved trail visiting the “Nation’s Christmas Tree” and third largest tree in the world, General Grant. The trail also features the Fallen Monarch which visitors can walk through to truly get a sense for the size and scale of these awe-inspiring trees.
