STARTS TOMORROW!Introducing Diedra Demen’s Beginner Iyengar Yoga Series!! Diedra’s 5 week workshop starts this Sunday 9/6 at 9am EST/ 6am PST!

The foundations of Iyengar Yoga are taught in the standing poses. The standing poses introduce students to the outer sheath of the body. (arms, legs, fingers, toes, wrist, elbows, knees etc) by spreading awareness to the outer body students learn various muscle movements such as extension, contraction, rotation, expansion, abduction, adduction etc. This knowledge of the outer body, works as a guide to go inwards.

 In this series students will learn correct actions and movements to help refine standing poses, in preparation for the intermediate and advanced poses that come later.

This workshop is open to beginning students, and students with more experience that are interested in refining the fundamental poses to build a foundation for their practice.
