And a brother, coincidentally, assigned to room 219 at LLC on the campus of Morehouse College. Over time, we welcomed the other seven pieces of my heart, and together formed what we endearingly refer to as โ€œ219.โ€ A group of 10 that has truly weathered every storm, rolled with every punch, and never let anything tear us apart. Through every season, we allowed the things that mattered most, love, accountability, and a commitment to choosing each other every single day, remain the foundation of our friendship. 219 has truly been touched by the hands of God. Blessed are we! Never once did the light of all of my beautiful siblings dull my own, but instead inspired me to shine that much brighter.
