Here’s how it unfolded for me:

As a Projector, I didn’t burn out; I drained out.☔️
Slowly. Quietly. In all the places I kept saying “yes” when my body whispered “no.”

It started with a friendship I cared about. Nothing explosive, nothing dramatic. Just a shift I kept trying to ignore. A heaviness after conversations that used to feel light. A tension in my chest I kept trying to logic away.

And as a Projector, we don’t collapse from doing too much.
We collapse from going against ourselves.

One forced invitation. ✉️
One “yes” that wasn’t truly ours.
One moment of pushing to stay connected, understood, or seen.

Bitterness wasn’t the problem; it was the message.
A signal that I was giving from emptiness, adjusting to be easier, shrinking to keep the peace.

My energy knew before my mind was willing to admit it.

And once I stopped forcing the connection. Once I allowed the friendship to be what it actually was instead of what I wanted it to be… The bitterness dissolved and so did the exhaustion.

If bitterness has been knocking for you too, you’re not “too sensitive.”

You’re receiving clarity. 🌤️
