🇪🇸 Originally from Spain, Abel Gongora joined SARU early on to work with director Masaaki Yuasa. After working as an animator on various projects, he shifted into directing, helming the "Star Wars: Visions short T0-B1" (2021) and "Scott Pilgrim Takes Off" (2023). 🚀 He storyboarded and directed the opening animation of "DAN DA DAN" season 1 (2024) and served as co-director on season 2 (2025). Gongora’s next work as director is "Jaadugar: A Witch in Mongolia," set for broadcast in July 2026. 💫
