Suspects Return to SCV — This Time in Handcuffs

Two male adult suspects who committed separate felony crimes in SCV earlier this year are now in custody.

One suspect caused thousands of dollars in damage after graffitiing a water tower in Canyon Country. Another stole a catalytic converter from a vehicle parked in a public parking garage near Main Street in Newhall.

Following their investigations, detectives identified both  suspects and obtained warrants.

This past Wednesday, deputies with our Crime Impact Team (CIT) traveled to Northridge and Van Nuys to pay a visit. Both suspects were home and taken into custody without incident.

One suspect was arrested on felony vandalism charges, while the other was arrested on felony grand theft charges. Both were transported back to SCV and booked at SCV Sheriff’s Station Jail.
