The former couple, fan favorites from the Netflix series, have since chosen to redefine their bond as a close friendship.

'David and I decided to call each other best friends, not boyfriend and girlfriend anymore,' Romeo said on the Tea Time with Raven-Symoné and Miranda Maday podcast.
