The organizers of an aid flotilla bound for Gaza said Israeli forces had intercepted 47 of their boats in the eastern Mediterranean, with 4 vessels still sailing toward the enclave.⁣

A video from Global Sumud Flotilla showed two of the boats, Andros and Zefiro, being approached and boarded by the Israeli military.⁣

The closest vessel to Gaza, Sirius, was 145 nautical miles away, the group said.⁣

Israel's foreign ministry said that it "will not allow any breach of the lawful naval blockade on Gaza."⁣
