Stellar news: the first-ever Steller’s sea eagle chick at the San Diego Zoo has hatched 💛

Tiny but mighty, this little birb is growing strong under mom and dad's care. This chick may be small now, but adult Steller’s sea eagles are among the largest and heaviest eagles in the world, with wingspans that can reach up to 8 feet wide. 

Seeing this chick thrive is a powerful reminder of the role conservation organizations can play in protecting threatened species and biodiversity for future generations.
