સુરેન્દ્રનગર જિલ્લાના સાયલા વિસ્તારમાંથી રાજકોટ રેન્જ આઈજી નિર્લિપ્ત રાયની ટીમે નકલી Dy.SP તરીકે રોફ જમાવતા એક શખ્સને ઝડપી પાડ્યો છે. આરોપી સોહિલખાન પઠાણ સોશિયલ મીડિયા પર પોલીસ ગણવેશવાળા AI આધારિત ફોટા મૂકી પોતાને દાહોદ LCBના PI તેમજ ATSના Dy.SP તરીકે ઓળખાવી લોકો સાથે ઠગાઈ કરતો હતો. પોલીસે જણાવ્યું કે આરોપી ઇલેક્ટ્રોનિક ઉપકરણોનો ઉપયોગ કરી નકલી સરકારી આઈકાર્ડ અને ડિજિટલ દસ્તાવેજો બનાવી સોશિયલ મીડિયા પર શેર કરતો અને આર્થિક લાભ મેળવતો હતો. રાજકોટ રેન્જની ટેકનિકલ ટીમે ચોક્કસ બાતમીના આધારે સાયલા-સુદામડા ચોકડી નજીક પુલ નીચેથી આરોપીને ઝડપી પાડ્યો હતો. સમગ્ર મામલે પોલીસે વધુ તપાસ હાથ ધરી છે.
