A clean finish from Temwa Chawinga helped power the Kansas City Current to another win as they defeated the Portland Thorns FC 3–1. 👏

Sophia Wilson opened the scoring for Portland, but Kansas City responded with one from Lo’eau LaBonta in the 40th minute to close out the first half level. 🤩

Chawinga’s goal came in the second half to give Kansas City the lead before Haley Hopkins added another for insurance. ⚽
