A common question I get is along the lines of, what was the scariest situation or encounter I've had while out camping? 

This is one of them.
 
If you know anything about Moose, you understand. 

Moose are generally peaceful creatures, but they'll take you out just for existing. 

They're huge, deadly, and can be very quiet. Never take your chances. Bear spray probably wouldn't even help if you're close enough to use it. I hope to never find out, personally.  

Do your best to avoid an encounter altogether but if you do stumble upon one, or them you, give them space and calmly get to safety.
