Ecco un piccolo sguardo dietro le quinte, poco prima del lancio dell’edizione italiana di „Sono normale? Capire l’ossessione per piedi e scarpe“! Una volta tradotti tutti i testi dal tedesco, creiamo una copia cartacea dell’intero libro con l’impaginazione esatta che avrà nella versione stampata. Quindi controlliamo ogni blocco di testo per assicurarci che tutto sia stato tradotto correttamente. Mali è di madrelingua portoghese e parla fluentemente anche spagnolo, quindi comprende l’italiano molto bene. Una volta completata questa revisione finale, diamo il via libera alla pubblicazione.  Mancano solo pochi giorni all’uscita in italiano del libro „Sono normale? Capire l’ossessione per i piedi e le scarpe“! 

Here’s a little behind-the-scenes look, just before the launch of the Italian edition of „Am I Normal? Understanding Foot and Shoe Obsession“! Once all the texts have been translated from German, we create a paper copy of the entire book in the exact layout it will appear in print. Then we go through each text block to check if everything has been translated correctly. Mali is a native Portuguese speaker and also speaks fluent Spanish, so she understands the Italian quite well. Once this final proofreading is complete, we release the edition for publication.  It’s only a matter of days until the book „Am I normal? Understanding foot and shoe obsession“ is also available in Italian!
