This BANANA PUDDING is layered with fluffy homemade pudding, fresh bananas, and buttery cookies for the most rich, bakery-style texture. The perfect easy dessert that everyone will ask you to make again!

Ingredients

* 1 (5.1 oz) box instant vanilla pudding
* 1 (5.1 oz) box instant banana cream pudding
* 3 cups cold milk
* 4 oz cream cheese, softened
* ½ (15 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
* 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste
* 2½ cups heavy whipping cream
* 1 box Nilla Wafers
* About 2 packages Chessmen butter cookies
* 3 bananas, sliced thin

Directions

1. In a large bowl, whisk together the vanilla pudding mix, banana cream pudding mix, and cold milk for 3–5 minutes until smooth and slightly thickened. Place into the fridge while preparing the whipped mixture.
2. In a separate bowl, add the softened cream cheese, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla bean paste. Use a mixer to beat until completely smooth with no lumps.
3. Pour in the heavy whipping cream and continue mixing until soft peaks form and the mixture becomes thick and fluffy.
4. Gently fold the whipped cream mixture into the chilled pudding mixture until fully combined and creamy. Be careful not to overmix.
5. In a 9x13 casserole dish, spread a thin layer of the pudding mixture on the bottom.
6. Crush about 15 Nilla Wafers and sprinkle them evenly over the bottom layer.
7. Add 12 Chessmen cookies in an even layer, then top with 1½ sliced bananas.
8. Spread half of the pudding mixture evenly over the top.
9. Repeat the layers with more Nilla Wafers, Chessmen cookies, another 1½ sliced bananas, and finish with the remaining pudding mixture.
10. Smooth the top and decorate with extra crushed cookies on top.
11. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, but overnight is even better.

Note: I used only half of the sweetened condensed milk because I preferred the sweetness level this way. If you like a sweeter banana pudding, you can use the full can.
