Applications are NOW OPEN for the 2026 - 2027 Junior Board at your Birmingham Zoo! 

The Birmingham Zoo’s Junior Board serves as a proud ambassador for one of Alabama’s most popular attractions and educational resources. Members’ most critical role is helping secure financial support for the Zoo, with a focus on projects that improve and build animal habitats.

Junior Board members also help promote the Zoo’s mission of inspiring passion to conserve the natural world through events, advocacy, and community involvement. This is a three-year commitment for individuals between the ages 25 - 40 looking to get involved and make a meaningful impact on the future of the Zoo. 🦒💚
