Philadelphia native Patti LaBelle will be honored at this year’s Philadelphia Pride celebration in June. 

The recognition comes as part of a tribute for her impact on the LGBTQIA+ community, according to Philly Pride 365. 

LaBelle, known as the “Godmother of Soul,” just recently celebrated her 82nd birthday over the weekend.
