END OF AN ERA 🥲

With the season at the end and eyes towards 26/27 it's a changing of the guard as some legends of floorball hang up their sticks and gloves and walk off into the sunset 🌇 

Sweden will see the greatest ever World Floorball Championships scorer and incredible 7 time World Champion Emelie Wibron retire alongside two legends from the men's team as multiple World Champions Alexander Galante Carlström and Robin Nilsberth also step away from the sport. A huge gap left in both the men's and women's national team 🇸🇪

2 time World Champion and legend for scclassic Janne Lamminen also finished his career this past season alongside tpssalibandy legend Jenna Saario who claimed theworldgames Gold in her final playing season for Finland last August in Chengdu 🇫🇮

Stepping away at the very top will be Doris Berger who helped Switzerland win World Championship gold this season before topping it all off with Champions Cup and SSL crowns as well. Fellow Swiss Nicola Bischofberger will be sorely missed from Swiss floorball as the towering, game changing, defender completes his final season in Floorball as well 🇨🇭

Czechia will be looking for some new Woman's goalkeepers as two of their very finest complete their Floorball story with Silver at a home World Championships. Nikola Prileska and Jana Christianova will be leaving a huge hole in between the goal for the Czech national team as they both sign off from professional floorball 🇨🇿

Slovakia will be losing their legendary captain Katarina Klapitova after 8 WFC's and 142 national team appearances for her country alongside league titles in 3 different countries. She'll leave a mark on floorball not just in Slovakia but also in Czechia and Switzerland too 🇸🇰
