MEDIA-supported film Fjord by Cristian Mungiu has won the Palme d’Or at the 79th edition of the Cannes Film Festival.

In total, six EU-funded films received awards across the festival, marking a remarkable moment as the Creative Europe MEDIA programme celebrates 35 years of supporting European audiovisual storytelling.
