🎩 A stage hypnotist told a volunteer he would no longer be able to see or recall the number 6. When asked to count his own fingers out loud, the man skips straight past it without hesitation, then looks genuinely confused about why his hands don’t add up. The bit works because the subject has no idea what he’s missing. Stage hypnosis relies on deep suggestibility combined with a focused trance state, and counting gaps are one of the oldest demonstrations in the act.
