Research shows that later school start times support adolescent brain development and healthy sleep cycles. Teenagers naturally fall asleep later because of changes in circadian rhythms. Beginning classes at 10 a.m. helps students sleep longer focus better remember information more effectively and experience fewer stress related illnesses.
