the dominic fike lore deepens 😶‍🌫️

dominicfike released his debut EP, the don't forget about me demos, in 2018 — and the original version of that was actually dropped while he was in jail, leading him to getting signed for millions of dollars to recoup legal fees

the success of that project brought a lot of attention to him early on, with one of those suitors being the new york times who ended up making a mini documentary about him on hulu

it's one of the lesser talked about parts of dom's early come up, but it has cool moments that lead us into his debut album, what could possibly go wrong

this was such a cool moment to capture in time considering how meteoric his rise has been since then with songs like babydoll and white keys, or with his work in euphoria too
