LIONS, MATADORES TITLE CLASH SET FOR FRIDAY: The jserra.softball team will officially seek to win its first ever CIF-SS title on Friday.

The CIF-SS office has confirmed that the CIF-SS Division 1 championship game between the Lions and the La Mirada Matadores will be played on Friday at Deanna Manning Stadium at Bill Barber Memorial Park in Irvine.

First pitch is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.

It will be the second meeting of the season between the Lions and Matadores, as JSerra defeated La Mirada 5-2 in the semifinals of the Dave Kops Tournament of Champions in Bullhead City, Arizona on March 6th
