We are sometimes joined by special guests in the print shop at the Sacramento History Museum but it is not often that they sing! Today is one of those days because May 24th is National Sing Out Day! For today, Jared was joined by Merlyn Camp and the Voices of California chorus. The group is an all-male a cappella chorus that’s part of an international family of men and women singers that make up the Barbershop Harmony Society. They are always looking for folks to join! They are hosting free singing lessons in a program called Ready, Set, Sing. It starts May 27th and you can find more information at their website at voicesofcalifornia org.  What was letterpress printed was “Voices of California Celebrate National Sing Out Day!” It was typeset in 60 point Caslon font.
