every piece of work i make is a room. not a photograph. not an object. a room.

a room you walk inside.
a room where the past and present exist simultaneously.
a room that holds the people who aren’t physically here anymore.
a room that was built for the person who never had one.

most people think photography is something you hang on a wall.

i think photography is something you live inside.

the frame is not the boundary. it is the door.

that is the unit of my practice.
not the image. the room.
