I was so excited to finally get out camping and although Colorado’s weather has not been cooperating for camping- it was very comfortable and flexible with roadsurfer

I had made several changes to my itinerary because of the rain and cold temps but it was an amazing trip and got to check out some new places to me!

I picked up the van in Denver & then headed South. I love this part of CO because it is definitely slower paced.

📌🗺️Here’s where I went:
- La Veta- cute town with a coffee shop, brewery and hope to check out Legends on Main next time

- Cuchara- I loved this town! It felt like being in the PNW and I was really hopeful to make it to Cuchara Yacht Club and Dog but they were closed, so I will be back! I did enjoy having lunch at Timbers and camping nearby and a beautiful & scenic hike with Addie

- Westcliffe- absolutely love this area. Had to stop at my favorite coffee shop here (get the Orange Maple latte 🍁☕️) and there is a few cute shops, restaurants and great hiking here!

And it would be very easy to add on Colorado Springs or Cañon City on your way back to Denver!
