Powerful. Fast. Full of words that can make people feel like they are already behind.

But I believe every person carries a key.

Curiosity. Creativity. Lived experience. Culture. Practical skill. Childlike wonder.

The danger is not opening the door.
The danger is opening it without wisdom.

Because AI is not just about machines. It is about what we teach them, what we feed them, what we protect, and who gets included in the future we are building.

We need AI that is trustworthy, fair, safe, transparent, and human-led. We need to protect sensitive information, challenge bias, question misinformation, and build with accountability.

Africa cannot afford to stand outside this door in fear.

We must enter with wisdom, courage, ethics, and purpose.

Because the future should not only be automated.
It should be stewarded.
