The Cavaliers and Comets will meet Thursday night at Loyola Field after both teams earned dominant semifinal wins.

Prep rolled past Wyoming Seminary, 14-5, while Abington Heights punched its first-ever trip to a district championship game with a 19-6 win over Crestwood.

The regular season meeting between these two delivered one of the best games of the year, as Scranton Prep rallied late for a 14-13 comeback win on the road over the Comets.

Now they meet again — with much more on the line.

Prep is seeking redemption after falling to Crestwood at home in last year’s district final, while Abington Heights looks to capture the first district title in program history in its first-ever championship appearance.

Both teams have already clinched automatic berths into the PIAA State Tournament.

🏆 Winner: hosts District 3 runner-up in Round 1
🚌 Loser: travels to the District 4/6 subregional champion
