💧Reverse osmosis water filters are becoming incredibly popular…but there are a few things people should understand about them 👇

They can help remove contaminants like lead, PFAS “forever chemicals,” fluoride, chlorine byproducts, and even most microplastics. That’s one of the reasons I personally use one — we live in an area with older piping and occasional boil water advisories, so having that extra filtration gives me peace of mind (plus I really like the taste). It also saves us a ton of money because we don't have to buy bottled water.

⚠️ But reverse osmosis also removes beneficial minerals like magnesium and calcium.

That doesn’t automatically make it “bad” water…but if you exclusively drink RO water, it may make sense to remineralize it by:

✅ Adding trace mineral drops
✅ Using a remineralization filter
✅ Adding electrolytes or mineral salts

And remember — a lot of important minerals should ideally come from your diet anyway 🍣🥬🥛

Greek yogurt, leafy greens, nuts, seeds, and wild-caught salmon are all great sources of magnesium, calcium, and other important nutrients.

As with most things in health…it’s about balance ⚖️

✅ We love our reverse osmosis water filtration system and highly recommend them to others. You can get one for as low as around $200 or less on Amazon.
