how to set up remote control for your agents 👇🏻

1. open telegram, message BotFather, type /newbot. give it a name. he gives you a token.
2. copy the token. do not paste it into your ai chat, that token is full control of your bot. anyone holding it can read every message, send messages as your bot, or hijack it. ai chats get logged. drop it in a .env file
3. get your own chat id. easiest way: search userinfobot on telegram, send it any message, it replies with your id. save it as TELEGRAM_ALLOWED_CHAT_ID.
4. plug both into your agent — claude code skill, hermes tool, whatever you use. the agent reads the env vars, sends messages out, only accepts messages from your chat id.
5. test it. message your bot. it should ping the agent. the agent should reply.
