We didn’t always go to Hope. Before COVID, we went to different churches, trying to figure out what was right for our family. When everything shut down, my little brother Finn’s preschool closed. That’s when he started preschool at Hope.

Finn loved everything about it. At 4 years old, he was leading prayer at the dinner table. Our whole family could see something was different. His faith was growing in a way we hadn’t seen before. Watching how Hope shaped his heart helped our family realize this might be where we were meant to be.

I was in second grade when we officially started at Hope.

Hope means a lot to me. When I feel worry or anxiety, I pray during worship. The music and the calming sound of the fountain help me feel close to God. Sometimes I feel so close to him that I can almost feel his presence.

One of my favorite memories is Christmas Eve. When the lights were dim, and we sang together, I felt like I was in the stable where Jesus was born. It didn’t just feel like a service. It felt real.

I also love PowerLife for middle schoolers and Vacation Bible School for kids. I went to VBS for almost four years, and now that I’m in middle school, I want to help serve. Hope has helped me grow in my faith, memorize Bible verses, and understand who God is.

I love the music—the singers, the instruments, and even the people in the booth running lights and sound. Everyone plays a part in helping people feel connected to God.

God has done so much in my life. Through Hope, I have learned that faith isn’t just something you talk about—it’s something you feel and live. The Spirit of God flows through the Worship Center and into our hearts.

Hope is not just a church building. It’s a place where my faith is growing.
