Letting @Chronicle on WCVB & Very Local pick my next meal via the Very Local app was such a good idea, I found an episode all about the best New England diners called Blue Plate Special and used it to plan some meals, here's where we ended up. First stop was Shayna’s Place in Rhode Island. A delicious spot and a bonus was discovering Wickford village because it was one of the most charming towns I've been to. Next we visitied Knotty Pine in Newton, somehow a place I had never been despite it being so close to home. I loved the vibes and the pancakes, I will be back for these again. These two places I never would have found without Chronicle. I literally opened the Very Local app on a Friday, watched the diners episode, and had a full plan of amazing places. Catch Chronicle on Channel 5, or stream anytime on the Very Local app or YouTube. #ChroniclePartner #ad #newengland #explore #thingstodo
