A lot of parents worry their child is fundamentally broken. That the way they’re wired is just … who they are now.

It’s not.

The alarm is real. 
The suffering is real. 
But an alarm is not an identity. 

A child in the middle of school refusal is not a dysregulated nervous system. They’re a developing human in a temporary state that can be worked with.

I know because I lived it. 
And I built something out of the other side of it.

University mental health trained, and a mum who’s been there.
