Trump has publicly endorsed five stocks. Dell, IBM, Intel, Micron, and Palantir. Every single one has ripped higher afterward. Dell went from $126 to $430 in less than four months. IBM surged as much as 15% pre-market after his latest mention. The pattern is impossible to ignore now and the options market is starting to price it in.

IBM's IV rank just hit 127, which means implied volatility just set a brand new 52-week high. When that happens, call skew appears and suddenly the calls to the upside are pricing richer than equidistant puts. That creates an opportunity in calendar spreads where you can reduce cost basis by more than 50% on the upside, more than you can on the downside, simply because of how the premium is distributed. The trade works whether you are bullish or bearish as long as you keep size small and let the short premium do its job.

The Trump effect is real in the tape right now and the options math shows you how to play it.
